Nathan has been surprisingly helpful this year. We have both done our fair share of wrapping presents which is amazing! Nathan asks me all the time why we have to wrap something just to have it torn apart and the paper thrown in the garbage. The only answer I have for him is "because" which inevitably leads to the argument, "because why?" Took which I promptly respond just help me wrap.
The house is decorated to the point that Nathan isn't throwing up when h
I don't go to excess but it would appear that anything more than a holiday wreath on the door is to much. Oh well, it is a battle that has been won this year and waits to be fought next year (again).
I am looking forward to Christmas Eve. We will be at Nathan's parents house. They have a tradition that the Baby Jesus in the nativity set they own is not placed in the manger until after the Christmas story is read on Christmas Eve. Christmas day will be spent with my family. It will be a bigger Christmas gathering than we have had in several years. This mostly due to the fact that my brother-in-law and nephew are here. Plus I have a good friend who will be by herself on Christmas so we have invited her over as well. The only ones left out will be Madison and Panzer. I have already informed Madison that when she can be nice she can come. We are still waiting for that blessed event to happen!
Merry Christmas to everyone and I hope that in this season of love and sharing, you each have peace, happiness, and the love of friends and family to inspire you for the coming year!
Seasons Greetings!
