Big noises come in small packages

Here we go. The first attempt at a blog. Now it is simply a matter of remembering the password so I can keep this up! When I told Nathan I was going to do some blogging, he asked me what I would blog about. Honestly, I have no idea but I thought I'd give it a try. That being said, if I should start to ramble please forgive me.

Let's see where should I start the ramblings? Well I guess I should give a brief overview of life thus far. Nathan and I have been married just over two years now. Some days it feels like 50 years ago some it feels like yesterday. We bought a little house in West Jordan just before we got married with the intention of fixing it up a little and then selling it and moving to the house we could stay in for a while. However due to time (and the fact that neither of us cares for painting) we have made little progress. Our to-do list keeps getting longer and longer. At this point in time our ambitions far exceed our motivation.

Madison and Panzer (our mini dachshunds) continue to be a joy as well as an embaressment. Madison is extremely territorial and has a tendancy to bite everyone who attempts to come in to our home without her permission. Panzer on the other hand continues to sound tough and hide behind Nathan's legs when a stranger comes by. Yesterday when I got home from work, I had not even taken my coat off when Madison was ready to play fetch. Panzer however sat at the bedroom door and whined until I let him in so he could retrieve "his" raw hide bone from his kennel. I say "his" raw hide bone since it really doesn't matter if we get one for him and one for Madison as he will attempt to chew on both at the same time rather than share with her.

Work is going very well. I am currently employed at IntelliBED. I am in the corporate office and have pretty much become the go-to girl for research and things of that nature. Nathan continues to work incredibly long hours so occasionally I don't see him for days at a time. I keep telling him that is the price he pays for knowing what he is doing and doing it well. He has big plans for wiring our house for internet and the likes. I love having a handy husband!

I guess that is about all for now. I know, nothing to very exciting but at least it's a start.
